Meet Sara |
I am a second generation healer. Following in my mom's footsteps, I have been working in the healing arts with a particular focus on mindfulness and energy work. I am a child of the Midwest, having lived in Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin all my life. Currently I call Verona, Wisconsin home. I am a community and school social worker by trade. I have spent the last 15 years working in urban, diverse neighborhoods. I help children and families connect to opportunities and realize their full potential. In addition to being a healer and social worker, I am also an athlete and coach. Having earned state titles and All American status in track and field, I continue to run and stay fit. I have reconnected with horses over the last five years. While growing up, I had the good fortune to be friends with people who owned horses. We’d spend days in the pasture. Returning to my love of horses and the freedom that the outdoors bring, I practice natural horsemanship, love trail rides, and serve as a conduit for the horses and their offering of healing to humans. My horse partner’s name is Stetson, a Tennessee Walker. Finally, the biggest part of what defines me is my connection to others: my kids, my husband, my parents, my siblings, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Being in community and serving my community is at the heart of who I am.
